Kevin Cunningham Presented with Distinguished Service Award

Kevin Cunningham was a recipient of The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana (IIABL) 2023 Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding representation of the insurance industry for more than 20 years.

This distinction is awarded to those who have distinguished themselves as relentless advocates of industry efforts. During the award presentation held in June 2023, Past-President Mike Scriber stated,

“What makes Kevin unique is that, for over 20 years, he has been one of the primary lobbyists providing testimony in the House and Senate Insurance Committees on important insurance legislation.”

Cunningham is the local lobbyist for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), the largest insurance company trade association in the country. He also represents the Reinsurance Association of America, Liberty Mutual/SafeCo, and Ace/Chubb.

The IIABL is the go-to information resource and primary advocate for independent insurance agents in Louisiana. IIABL is a member-based, professional trade association serving more than 350 independent insurance agents, meeting the education, political, and business needs of members to maximize business opportunities.
