David is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned a degree in Political Science with a focus on communication and writing. He began his professional journey during his time in college, when he joined the SSG team as an intern. In this role, his passion for political strategy and communications flourished. He joined the team full-time immediately following his graduation from LSU and has built on his expertise in public relations and advocacy since.

Prior to his time at SSG, David honed his skills in mass communication and outreach through his time as both Philanthropy Chairman and Alumni Relations Chairman of his fraternity. In these roles, he advocated to administrators, peers and families alike to connect people across the country and notably raised tens of thousands of dollars for Team Gleason, a non-profit dedicated to supporting those diagnosed with ALS.

As a Baton Rouge native, David is well connected in the community and has made a significant impact through his role as a middle and high school cross country and track & field coach. In this capacity, he has helped guide and mentor young athletes, instilling values of discipline, camaraderie and perseverance while helping them build character traits that extend beyond the track.

David’s commitment to political strategy, communications and advocacy with strong leadership and community-building skills make him another asset to the SSG team.
